Membership Requirements for
the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order

The requirements for COMPNOR membership are currently under revision.

Minimum Rank Requirement of E-4

COMPNOR members are often required to manage or process sensitive information and data. To ensure a visible record for loyal and active Imperials joining COMPNOR, applicants should have attained a rank of E-4 or higher prior to soliciting membership within COMPNOR.
Background Check

Every applicant to COMPNOR must pass a background check performed by Imperial Intelligence and the Imperial Security Bureau prior to being pronounced eligible for membership within COMPNOR.
Approval

The applicant must have the approval of their direct superiors - their Commanding Officer and the Executive Officer. This is important as it certifies that their superiors have faith in the applicant, and believe that they have the time to accept further duties within the whole of the Galactic Empire.
Recommendation

Every applicant shall be prepared with a recommendation of their character and person from a superior officer within the Empire, and of good standing. This officer must be able to comment on the applicant's worth, ability, and dedication, and support them in their efforts to better themselves.
Sponsorship

Every applicant must have a present member of COMPNOR, in good standing, sponsor their application to the organization. This sponsor must answer to the Grand Vizier and Select Committee to testify on the behalf of the applicant's worthiness.
Affirmation

The final step when applying to join COMPNOR comes once all other steps have been taken and submitted to the Grand Vizier. At this time, final decision and approval will be rendered from the Grand Vizier, or from the Emperor.

Membership Restrictions for
the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order

Restrictions

Members of COMPNOR participating in a "part-time" position, where the majority of their time is spent tending to their primary responsibilities in another Branch will not be able to hold command positions within COMPNOR's administration. Naturally, any member who wants to dedicate his or her service to COMPNOR on a higher level will find it necessary to resign and transfer from any other branch positions to COMPNOR. The Imperial Security Bureau will only accept full-time staff.

Each COMPNOR department has its own orientation and training process. When a new member is assigned to a department, the department-specific orientation and training requirements must be completed to the satisfaction of the presiding administration prior to beginning duty.

Individuals with records of criminal enterprises or previous questionable predilictions are barred from membership within COMPNOR. While reform is certainly laudable and distinctly achievable, COMPNOR holds itself to the most stringent of moral standards, and will brook no exemptions.

Exemptions

The Emperor may elect to overrule part or all of these Requirements or Restrictions, but such action is extraordinarily unlikely.
