 Imperial Security Bureau - Command The Director of the Imperial Security Bureau coordinates the actions of the various divisions within the Bureau, and ensures that the information necessary to each is getting in and not out. The Director, commonly holding the rank of ISB-General, controls all correspondence and tasks sent between the various divisions of the Bureau, and their sector-based officers. Intercommunication is not encouraged between divisions or sector departments without the explicit sanction from the Imperial Security Bureau's Command elements. The ISB Director is assisted by the Deputy Director of the ISB who is an officer that typically holds the rank of ISB-Lieutenant General. The ISB Deputy Director serves as the ISB’s Executive officer and as such is responsible only to the ISB Director and of course the Throne. The ISB Deputy Director is also responsible for leading the ISB in the absence of the ISB Director.
