The white armour of the Imperial Stormtroopers stands for
the destructive power of the Empire. It stands for the
executive force of Imperial law and the outstretching hand of
the Emperor from whole systems to the smallest colonies and
planets. Absolute effectiveness and emotionless,
rational action are the typical associations the common citizen
has when faced with these white-clad soldiers of the
New Order. The great power of the Imperial
forces is known and feared in the whole galaxy, and the
silent, grim, death's-head visages of the Stormtroopers
take a powerful and significant role in this reputation.
At times, a need will surface for executive special forces - the
StormCorps. Subjected to intensive training beyond the
regular regimen of the Imperial Army, and instructed in specialist combat
and insertion, the StormCorps are the elite forces
of the Empire. They are specially trained for any task,
and failure is not an option or consideration for them. They are
equipped for any environment: water, desert, mud, jungle, snow, and space - and
will follow orders without questions. The exact numbers and supply methods of the
StormCorps remains a mystery to nearly all Imperial personnel, and this fact alone
has caused fear and uneasiness for those with doubt surrounding their loyalty.
The StormCorps is deployed on an ‘as needed ’ basis throughout the galaxy
the StormCorps can act as shock troops, commandos and even watchdogs for
both internal and external activities that have caused suspicion.
To work as efficiently as possible, StormCorps can be put under the temporary
command of an operation's lead officer, or be deployed as a seperate entity
entirely. These situations are dictated as demand warrants, and StormCorps
personnel can be found in operations alongside the Imperial Army,
with the Imperial Navy, supporting the Imperial Security Bureau, or
supplementing Imperial Intelligence.
