To act as the eyes and ears of any Army unit, be it MATF or Infantry.
To act as a preliminary quick strike force when needed.
To relay information on any enemy defensive information to an awaiting Imperial unit in an offensive campaign.
To relay information on any enemy offensive information to an awaiting Imperial unit in a defensive campaign.
To patrol and defend bases, outposts, cities, towns, etc. when called upon, in defense of all Imperial Laws and Security.
To be able to adapt to a variety of climates and terrain.
To escort public officials to a pre-determined destination.
